Butterfly, Butterfly, Flutter Away

I cased this card from the Stampin’ Up demonstrator magazine, which featured some cards by Mary Fish.  Mary used Yo Yo Yellow & Brilliant Blue as the main colors of her card.  I used two of our new In Colors, Rich Razzleberry & Bermuda Bay along with the Sizzix Butterfly Die.

Dream a little dream

Here’s the other July Creative Card Design card, featuring Stampin’ Up’s  “Dreams Du Jour” set.  It is done with some very pale colors, which is not what I generally reach for.  I was apparently in a Soft Subtles mood when I created this!  I’ve been spending so much time playing with the new In Colors, that I guess I needed a break from their bright colors.

The tree is back…

I was so glad to see this tree set “Season of Friendship” make it into the new Stampin’ Up catalog.  It was in a previous mini catalog and when the mini’s end, we never know if any of the items will make it into the “big book”.  I used the pear & bird from “Cheep Talk” to make this card complete.  We’re making this in my July Creative Card Design classes, along with a pocket card featuring Dreams Du Jour which I’ll share with you soon.

Recipe Book Pages

Throughout the summer months I’ll be teaching a Recipe Book Class which we started in June. Here’s the cover and the first four pages. I’ll be giving my finished book to my daughter-in-law and she’s so excited. She loves to cook and wants to learn how to fix all of Landon’s favorites so she can surprise him when he comes home from Afghanistan.
